Well as I sit here typing this the other guys are probably checking all their bags in at the airport to fly home. My flight doesn’t leave until about 1 this afternoon, then I have about a 2 hour layover in Tokyo. To reflect on this Japan trip would take way to long and no one would want to read everything I have to say. But this trip was everything I dreamed about. got to ski avi barriers, see culture, meet great new friends and most import ski some really deep pow. I can’t thank everyone involved enough for making this trip happen and everything they did. Big shout out to K2 skis and Warren Miller Ent. for doing this trip and planning everything. Clayton and everyone at the Black Diamond lodge welcomed us with open arms, plus showed our crew all the great spots. If anyone ever goes to Niseko Japan, I highly recommend staying at the BDL its amazing everything. Everyone at Niseko Hilton hotel was super nice and thank you for the hook up. And can’t forget about Tom and Danny Day, these guys are true professionals and it was great working with them. they never complained about filming or carrying heavy camera stuff, never missed a shot and they were able to put up with Roman and I humor the whole trip. It was awesome working with them and getting to them over the 2 weeks. Same goes for Roman and Tatsuya, you guys rip and I’m stoked we got to shred some deep pow together. The footage we got from this trip will be… well.. DEEP so I highly recommend coming out and seeing it when the movie is released. Well thats a wrap from the japan trip, it was a trip of a life time and I really hope I can come back to this amazing place soon.
