Was really looking promising this morning when we woke but turns out the clouds came back in. We sent the heli up to check out the zones but they had to turn around and come back to camp. So we decided to go check out this castle up on the foothills. We showed up to find lots of goats running around and an awesome local goat herder with them. He were able to hang out and check out the castle for a bit, now we are packing up and getting ready for a big move tomorrow to new location.

STORM THE CASTLE!!!
Tomorrow we ski!!!
Well the adventures never end… I finally made it to Greece and the place we are all staying after spending 48+ hours in a plane/airport. However my bags and everything I need did not. I found out Josh Bibby’s bags also did not make it in from his flight, so we both were out of luck for the first day. Luckily we were informed that our bags would be showing up at 4 P.M. So for the first day we just hung out got use to the time change (which is about 10 hour difference, so as I’m writing this its 5 A.M.) I pretty much stuffed my face with an amazing breakfast and lots of coffee this morning. The food here is amazing and I may come home about 10 pounds heavier, OOPS! Anyway, the plan was to drive to the airport and get our bags at 3, But why drive when you can fly! We took off from out hotel and was at the airport in about ten minutes, I must say you definitely feel like a bad ass when you show up by heli to get lost luggage. Unfortunately upon arrival I was informed that my bags would for sure be in the following day, however one of Josh’s bags did make it. So the heli ride to the airport wasn’t for nothing after all. Afterwards we went into town to an amazing little restaurant were I continued to stuff my face with amazing Greek food and something called Zeus Juice (home made wine). So tomorrow is another day and hopefully I will be able to report back that I have bags in hand.
^ Our digs for the next couple of day.
^ We are right on the Sea
^ Our bird the the trip, A-Star
^ Breakfast here at Greece could be a problem…
^ We don’t drive to get our bags… WE FLY!
^Bibby stoked we are on his way to get his bags.
^ En route to get bags
^ Special delivery for Josh. Ski bags
^ Nothing like a little Greek food
^ Mouth watering
^ Greek Poutine?!
^ And Zeus Juice! (Home made wine)
So hopefully my bags show up and we can get started on this film. Until then I’m going to drink and stuff my face with amazing food.
Just found out Ian Coble and I got the cover of the new Ski Presse mag. Not only did we get the cover but they did a full write up on Ian and gave him gallery. I made the cut in the gallery along with other athletes.

This past week I was invited to head up to the CMH K2 Rotor Lodge. K2 and CMH have done something really special, in where they have turned their entire lodge into a K2 museum. The whole place is done the K2 way, from the bar to the rooms. One of the special things about the lodge is that the guests get to ski any new k2 skis they want, with them getting a free pair of any K2 skis the following year! The Reason I was sent up to the lodge last week was to hang with a Steep Deeps and Pillow Drops group. This group is different from most heli groups, in they are out looking for pillows and cliffs to hit. It was fun to ski with a group of guys out looking for the same thing I would be looking for on a daily basis. I also was able to get out and take some runs with some regular groups that come to the lodge. One thing I did get to witness that was cool, was one guest reach 8 MILLION! vert skied at CMH in his life time. Along with another hitting 1 MILLION! Thats insane and a lot of heli skiing. All and all it was a great trip and I was really excited to get up to CMH and ski a lot of pow. here are some photos and I am working on a small edit.
